Hot Chocolate

I’m a self confessed chocoholic, to me you can never have too much chocolate! While making some hot chocolate for my family, I thought of playing around with some ingredients to change it up from your typical hot chocolate to something really fun! I used some cayenne pepper to heat it up, but you can opt not to use it and it will still be great!
To make this I used:
250ml full cream or semi-skimmed milk
2 tbps Cocoa
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp vanilla
Sugar to taste

Directions

On a pan, bring milk to a simmer. While it’s heating, put the cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, vanilla and sugar to taste into a mug. Once the milk simmers, pour it into a jug and shake it with the lid on, then microwave it for 30 seconds to froth the milk. Add the milk to the mug with the dry ingredients and stir until they mix well. Top it off with some whipped cream and dust with cocoa.
