Bacon Fried Rice

I love fried rice! It’s easy to make, delicious and filling (what else could you ask for?) 🙂 I also love how you can make so many variations to it with any ingredients and customize it to be your own!
To make this I used:

2 cups rice
1 cup peas
2 carrots (sliced thinly)
1 onion (chopped)
1/4 cup coriander
250g bacon
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Soy sauce
Salt and pepper


Boil the rice with salt until cooked.
Melt the butter in a wok and add the onion and garlic and stir until brown. Add the carrots, coriander and peas and cook for two minutes. Add the bacon and cook until golden brown.
Gradually add the rice to the pan and keep stirring while sprinkling soy sauce. Continue until all the rice is finished.
Season with salt and pepper.
