Bow Tie Pasta in a Tomato Sauce

Inspired by a masterchef episode, I decided to make my own simple tomato sauce to go with some pasta!
To make this I used:

1 onion
2 garlic cloves
4 tomatoes
2 Tbsp of tomato paste
1/3 cup chopped parsley
Β Salt and black pepper

Directions

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, until it softens. Add the garlic and stir for 1 minute.

Stir in the tomatoes and add the tomato paste. Stir in the parsley and season with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat and allow it to simmer for one hour.

Boil the bowtie pasta with some a pinch of salt and serve.

  1. Beautiful photography! It’s true a picture is worth a thousand Words. I was drawn in by the image of those bow ties on pasta sauce (and I love pasta anyway)…and the recipe is very simple. I like that. Short but sweet (or savory). Thanks for posting.
