Last weekend a few of my friends and I decided to go to Singapore for the Chinese New Year break and it was absolutely fantastic!
One of the most iconic places in Singapore is Marina Bay, a bayfront surrounded by resorts, theatres and museums. The best time to go is at night when it’s well lit.
What looks like is a cruise ship perched in the air is actually a sky park, and right below is the infinity pool, which holds the record for being the longest infinity pool in the world.
The boardwalk along the beachfront is stunning!
There’s a beautiful water and light show using sprinklers, music, and graphics on Sunday-Thursday at 8:00p.m and 9:30 p.m and on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m, 9:30 p.m, and 11:00 p.m.
One of the coolest things about Marina Bay was this man made lake right in the centre of the mall!
I didn’t get to go on the Ferris wheel due to time, but I got to view it while leaving it’s more of an observation wheel that gives you a bird’s eye view of Singapore.
There’s definitely a lot more to see in Singapore, the night safaris, the bird park, universal studios, and so much more! I’ll have to go back again!
If you’ve been to Singapore before I’d love to know what your experience was like!
