Where have 2 minute brownies been my whole life? I discovered these quick brownies that only take two minutes to make, and less than ten ingredients.
I used:
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa (natural, unsweetened)
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cinnamon
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp canola oil or vegetable oil
1 to 2 drops vanilla extract
Put all the dry ingredients in a cup (flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and cinnamon).
Then add the oil and water. Stir until smooth and put it in the microwave for about two minutes and voila!
Try it and let me know in the comments how it turns out!
Hmmm… it looks really good!
Thanks for sharing… gonna try it out ASAP. So easy too. Wow!
Thanks again.

Were the brownies more cake like? They look like they have soft, warm, more liquid centers. I have to try this one. What happened as they cooled? Sorry for all the questions. I think this would also be good as dessert cooked in individual microwave safe jars (with ice cream on top?).

Hi Liz! Questions are always welcome!☺The center is firm no liquid at all. Putting them in individual jars is a really great idea, don’t forget the ice cream!☺☺

Oh thank you! How delightful! I altered it to a “healthy” version with whole wheat flour, a lot less sugar, half the oil — and loved it. Did not know about microwaved “baked” goods. –Colette

This looks fantastic and fantiscally easy. I wonder what would happen if I used rum or bourbon instead of, or for part of, the water…have you tried that? I love the single serving aspect. Terrific recipe…thanks!
